How to add cutscene effect when one scene change to another scene?

  • I would suggest making a level that is just the cutscene and when you change the level from the one a player just beat change it to the cutscene level then when the cutscene is finished change to the next player level.

    level 1 -> cutscene level 1 -> level 2 -> cutscene level 2 and so on.
  • Hi @meishijiemeimei & @Searlesama you could create a cut scene level (level 1) that shows a transition message and also have that level determine the next level to transition to based on a global property that exists across levels. Or ever other level could be a cut scene level and add logic in the cut scene levels to auto transition to the next level after an animation plays or a certain amount of time passes using the Timer action. When the new level loads you could have a black sprite that covers the whole screen and fade it out when the new level is loaded.
