Use Relative Property References & Expression References
  • To save your self time later if you decide to change the name of an entity make sure to use relative references when referencing properties on the same entity. If you have an action that changes the alpha property of a renderer on the same entity reference the alpha property using a property reference like this: @Renderer.alpha = 0 or expression like this: Self.Renderer.alpha. instead of an absolute path with the entity name in it like this: #Entity.Renderer.alpha.

Currently there is a bug in the editor when using the property and expressions browsers to find properties. It uses absolute references instead of relative ones. This will be fixed in the next build.
