Rejection from Apple
  • My last two applications that I submitted to Apple have been rejected and each seem to have the same error.

    - I am able to deploy and run on android fine
    - Android versions have been approved by Amazon testing team, and Nabi testing team
    - I am able to deploy to Ipad, Iphone, and Ipad mini locally from my machine

-However when I send my application for review to apple it gets rejected.
Here is the crash log that apple provided after rejection... I don't event know where to start with this.

  • @Carlton no worries we will get it figured out. Please send in any specific error reports from Apple via the contact page. I am getting a new build with an updated compiler out to you asap so you can re-build and re-try submission.

It looks like it may have crashed on the latest apple iOS update v8.1
  • @Carlton did you publish with Fast Packaging turn on or off?
  • @Lavon, I just checked that build and didn't turn off Fast Packaging. I'll try again and let you know the results.
  • @Lavon, Just got back another rejection from apple. This time the Fast Packaging was off.
They say it produced the same error, application did not launch.

I will download the new GBS build and try again.

  • @Carlton one concern I have is whether Apple is requiring 64 bit versions of apps earlier than they said. They gave a cut off date of early next year. I will look into this.

Do you know if they are testing it on a 64 bit device?
Also are you using any plugins with native device features? (i.e. Admob, etc)
  • I'm unaware if they are testing on a 64 bit device. I've tested on my iPhone 5s and it seems to run fine.

I don't have any plugin features at all, I will put this project in my dropbox so you can see what might be causing the issue.

I created this project just to see if I could publish anything on the Apple Store, so I don't have any problems sharing.
  • @Carlton did you get approved with the latest build?
  • @Lavon, No it didn't get approved.(Same error as before unable to open application). When I find time I'll create a dropbox and share it with you. I'm currently updating some of my old java apps, and then I'll try to address this apple issue.

    Thank you
  • @Carlton please send the project over so we can debug. Include any error logs from Apple as well. You said it doesn't crash on your local device but apple reports a crash correct?
