Having an issue running older game projects with the latest GBS v1.0
  • Finally got around to trying out 1.0 and to my horror, my games won't work at all. They Load into GBS but when I launch them, they just throw a pile of errors in flash player debugger and I'm left with a blank screen. the demo files have problems too. The Physics Constraints demo compiles and plays but doesn't work right. 

    here's some errors from one of the games:

  • @Dbd errors like this are better to be submitted via our support link. Try the latest build 864. This error should be fixed. Also make sure to delete your bin folder on any existing projects before compiling them if you don't have any custom code in there.

    If you are still having issues compiling your projects submit a support request.
  • Installed 864... same errors. deleted BIN then got "Generated SWF cannot be found"

  • try testing your app within the browser rather than the flash player. do you get any errors this way?

  • @Dbd this error means that one of your expression is throwing an error. Send in your project file by itself. The .gbx file alone. Let me see if I can spot any glaring syntax errors in your expressions.
